The use of remote sensing as a methodology for monitoring is favorable in the sugarcane crop, because of the efficiency of the methods that can be applied and the low cost. The objective of this work was to correlate NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index), NDWI (Normalized Difference Water Index) and EVI (Enhanced Vegetation Index) vegetation index with soil parameters in a sugarcane area. From the Landsat-8 images, the values of the three vegetation indices were calculated and extracted, after which it made a Pearson correlation with the parameters collected in the field. The values of the indices were 0.330-0.457 for NDVI, -0.099-0.034 for NDWI and -0.191-0.283 for EVI, it was noticed that the situation that the culture isnt favorable for its period (density of vegetation). The best correlation results were 0.142 potassium with NDVI, water retained (0.112), particle density (0.112), total porosity (0.171) and resistance to penetration (0.267) with NDWI and the coarse sand (0.393), Total sand (0.317), macroporosity (0.25) and pH (0.162) with EVI. It was verified the importance of the monitoring of these parameters in the crop, as well as the need to deepen the analysis through spatial dependence, in order to verify the pattern of occurrence of the parameters.
